Solana assists providers in leveraging technology to become more efficient in the everyday tasks of administration of services. These solutions include an “integrated” ID/DD software system focusing on tasks in accounting, payroll, billing, human resources, fund raising, incident tracking, and other ID/DD specific functions. This shares data electronically and eliminates double and triple entry of the same data in unrelated software programs. Other main focuses include automated forms processing service that eliminates manual data entry for common processes such as payroll and billing.
Although there are many software choices in the market, most of them are not suited for the specific needs of a ID/DD provider. Many times, providers are forced to run multiple disparate systems for accounting, payroll, billing, and management of clients. These unrelated and industry generic systems create inefficiency due lack of electronic communication with each other and the workarounds created in order for the software to operate in a ID/DD environment.
