We do about 18 data conversions a week from Peachtree to QuickBooks. Our company however does provide Peachtree integration services as well and believe that Peachtree has better Inventory and better reporting than QuickBooks. There is a fundamental problem with Peachtree and that is it's based on the very old BTrieve 6.15 data file structure (acquired by Pervasive). Although QuickBooks is based on it's own proprietary data file format (IDF) is has a well published Software Development Kit (SKD 3.0) that allows data to be imported and exported directly between other applications and QuickBooks. What this means for you is that there are hundreds of add-on applications and utilities to make your accounting system complete. Peachtree's "BTrieve 6.15" data file is not even supported by Pervasive as longer and it's becoming very difficult to find program that integrate with Peachtree. If you need help converting your data to QuickBooks let us know. You can view our data conversion brochure on our website at: http://www.silicondigitalsystems.com/DataConversion/.
