Applicant must:
have substantial/recent construction accounting and management experience
have experience in all accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, billing, receivables, general ledger
have experience managing and training accounting staff
be able to establish and maintain effective internal controls
be able to provide internal consulting, process improvement, performance evaluations
be able to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, planning and analysis reports
be able to manage and maintain financing, banking, bonding relationships
possess excellent verbal and written communication skills/interpersonal skills
be proficient in major software programs, i.e. MS Word/Excel
have substantial experience with construction-specific accounting software, preferably Timberline
be able to provide strategic financial leadership, support, recommendations
summarize and forecast cash flow, income, expense, earnings
effectively participate with other managers to provide leadership and promote growth of company
manage/oversee IT systems
be experienced with contracts, change orders, job costing, WIP schedules
