At my new place of work i found that my employers had been using peachtree accounting version 5. However, the installation CD and registration details have been lost. The software has been corrupted and will not open. All i have is a file of the data. Hence i purchased vide ebay a new peachtree accounting 2006 which i understand is compatible to the version 5. I have proceeded to register this software but have not had a response from SAGE thus far. When i try and use this software to open my old data file, it requests for User ID and password. I have been given the previous password but no one is sure what the previous User ID was. What can i do to be able to access my old data file using the new software.
