Red Wing Software Releases CenterPoint® Accounting Version 3 and CenterPoint Payroll Version 6
Over 50 additional functions have been added to increase efficiency and flexibility in reporting
Red Wing, MN – April 14, 2010 – Red Wing Software, Inc. announces the release of CenterPoint Accounting Version 3 and CenterPoint Payroll Version 6. The new releases successfully address the needs of customers with over 50 additional functions that increase the efficiency and productivity of the software. Customers will benefit from improved speed when running reports, and printing checks and direct deposit advices, with the enhanced memory management. Furthermore, customers can increase productivity with the new columns, filters and drill-down capabilities within the Sources and Uses report, and payroll reports for improved data management.

Many of the new functions within CenterPoint Accounting were suggestions received from customers, including; the new Credit Card Activity report that allows customers to easily monitor credit card and line of credit activity, and the Account Lookup control added to the detail screen of payments, receipts, and AP invoices. Also included in this major release is improved data entry accuracy with the new chart of accounts reports that allows customers to verify the accounts assigned to a distribution.
CenterPoint Payroll has included a new option within Aatrix reports, which allows customers the flexibility to filter the New Hire report by either the employees SUTA state or the state the employee resides in. Also included in this release is improved data reporting functions such as, the option to add a Pieces column to the payroll register and a Show Only Current Rates option that filters to the latest effective date for an earning on the report.
