Universal Accounting Software Announces SQL Version Development

. (UAS) announces plans to make its integrated suite of accounting and operations modules available on the Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 Enterprise Edition database management platform. In announcing plans for a version for SQL Server, Universal Accounting Software is affirming its commitment to provide unique software solutions that meet the needs of many types and sizes of businesses.

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is easier to install, configure, and maintain than older versions of the platform, allowing the small to medium size businesses that make up most of the UAS client base to take advantage of the benefits of a relational database. In addition, customers who purchase Universal products today will be able to make a smooth transition to SQL Server version when it becomes available.

UAS is a fully-integrated modular system that utilizes client/server architecture. It serves a variety of industries including wholesale distribution, rental, and retail.
