Appgen Accounting Software Now Imports QuickBooks® Data

TACOMA, WA -- 03/30/2005 -- Aptus Corp., owners of Appgen Software Solutions, announced today the availability of data import functionality that brings accounting and financial data from Intuit's QuickBooks® application files into the Appgen database.

The updated import routines allow users to migrate data from Windows versions 2005 and prior of Intuit QuickBooks® applications into the Appgen MyBooks Professional system. Once the data is imported into the Appgen MyBooks system, it can then be used with either MyBooks Professional or the Appgen Custom Suite of applications. Because the Appgen applications run on Windows, Mac OSX, Linux and other operating platforms, this utility gives users the ability to retain their investment in valuable business data while they migrate their accounting and financial systems to Appgen systems running on any of the available Appgen-supported platforms. The import utility converts both master file data as well as transaction detail data.
