Edible Software

Edible Software is a comprehensive, SQL/Windows-based inventory and accounting package that was designed and coded specifically for the Wholesale Food Distribution industry. The core package includes all essential accounting areas, with a special focus on inventory control.

Specific Accounting modules include: Purchase Orders (P.O.), Receiving, Inventory Control, Inventory Re-Packing, Multi-Cost Inventory Costing, Order Entry, Pricing by Item by Customer, Accounts Receivables and Payables, Truck Routing, Invoicing, and General Ledger.

The flexibility, management tools and security of the package, makes it a key tool for all Wholesale Food Distributors.

In addition to the base Edible Software package, there are the following optional add-on packages:

Edible Net - Allows your customers to place their orders with your company directly from your Web-Site. All orders placed by them then interface directly into Edible Software.

Edible PDA. This module allows your salespersons to take orders at remote customer sites using hand-held PDA's. Each customer's buying information and pricing is automatically downloaded into the PDA, after which orders can be taken and automatically transferred back to Edible Software. With this utility, salespersons do not need to return to your office each day, thus increasing efficiency and saving both time and money.

Edible Wi-Fi. This module allows your salespersons to take orders on handheld PDA's at your location, using an internal wireless network.

Edible PI. This module allows your warehouse personnel to take Physical Inventory using handheld PDA's and bar-code scanning. It can be used either in a wireless network environment or can be stand-alone with the data being down-loaded after capture.

Edible P&L. This module allows your warehouse personnel to validate the products being picked for, or being sold to, each customer prior to their being dispatched from the warehouse. By using wireless on-line PDA's, each product and each product's quantity being pulled/shipped for a customer, is instantly verified against the customer's order, thereby ensuring that only the correct items in the correct quantities, are actually dispatched from the warehouse.

Edible DSD. Sales orders can now be taken and immediate product deliveries made at remote customer sites, by utilizing PDA's that control the inventory on your trucks, as well as enabling your salespersons to take orders and print invoices at the customer's site. The sales and inventory information is then later automatically transferred back to Edible Software.
