UtilAbility

UtilAbility eases and speeds the execution of your periodic billing and receipting needs from posting meter readings and payments to calculating and printing invoices.

You can easily examine subsets of the data in the database. You can view all the data or just a small portion of the data. Once you have the portion of data you need, you can sort its data in either ascending or descending order by any data field that's displayed. If you select one record you can immediately go to the maintenance screen for that record and modify it. This helps you see the "big picture" of the data while providing access to the detail.

You can specify whether or not an invoice will be printed for any combination of three available addresses: service address, customer billing address, and/or alternate billing address.

You can set up multiple late charges and specify which services will use them. This allows UtilAbility to track late charges by service and groups of services even down to the account level.

Our flexible meter reader interface can easily export to and import from multiple types of meter readers, and it's designed to allow the addition of new meter readers as they become available.

Multiple companies can be setup within the same database without having to purchase additional licenses. Any of your accounts can be assigned to any of those companies. This gives you the ability to handle billing (individually or together) for multiple companies using the same program and database.

An intuitive report selection interface lets you view the description of a selected report before actually generating it. The interface also allows you to preview a report on your screen and print it or export it to specific types of files and applications (email, Excel, etc.).
