Make sure you are in the same company when you try to remove the user. Restart SQL as well.
If that does not work do this
1. Make a backup of the DYNAMICS database.
2. Determine the userid of the user that is stuck.
3. At the Microsoft SQL Server, open Query Analyzer.
4. Run the following script on the DYNAMICS database:
DELETE ACTIVITY WHERE USERID = 'XXX'
(where XXX = the userid that you want to remove)
5. Log back into Great Plains.
