As an long-time MBS/Great Plains partner, the answer is eConnect. This module was developed for exactly the purpose you are looking for, and there has been quite a bit of work done by Microsoft in this area. We have customers processing 200,000 transactions/month, real time. I do, however, highly recommend getting help with the first couple of implementations. It's a powerful tool that can provide the real time connection to GP that you are looking for, but it's not a slam dunk implementation. Further, not to discourage you from expanding into the ERP world, but I would recommend partnering with a GP focused company rather than just diving into that market. ERP is a different world, and speaking from experience, unless you are ready to expand into "accounting" consulting, I would stay focused on your product and your traditional (technical) Microsoft expertise, and I think Microsoft would recommend the same thing. We have had great success partnering with traditional MS partners and ISV products for Great Plains, and staying focused on our expertise areas. There are plenty of GP partners who would work with you, be fair about the revenue split, and your clients would have a much higher success and satisfaction rate from utilizing targeted, deep expertise.
