lgs214,
From the Windows Vista for Dummies book:
If your old program has trouble running with Windows Vista, follow these steps:
1. Right-click the programs icon and choose Properties.
(I did this using Windows explorer and found the setup file for the program on the CD.)
2. When the Properties dialog box appears, click the Compatibility tab.
3. Select the program's desired Windows version from the Compatibility mode's drop-down menu.
(Check your program's box or look at its manual to see what version of Windows it expects.)
4. Click OK and then try running your program again to see whether it's working better.
Give this a try and see if it works. You'll still need all the installation info to be entered as before.
Blessing,
Jack Maiese
