If you create a purchase order in Simply, and email it to yourself, you'll receive a sales order file. Open it in Notepad or some other text file editor and you can see the format.
"9001","1"
"Lawn Maintenance Company", , , ,"Ontario", , , , ,
"1","2","1-1-2003", ,"3789.25","0.00"
"1000","1.0000","3295.0000","3295.00","GST","0","1","7.00","230.65","PST","0","0","8.00","263.60"
The version section is covered in the Simply manual. The sales order section has the company name info, and then the line item. You should be able to match things up if you compare your PO to the entries in this file.
Since this is an XML file, the case is probably important. Make sure the tags e.g. are exactly the same.
Presumably you can repeat the sales orders section in the file to import more than one sales order.
