AnyDoc®CAPTUREit™ Named a KMWorld Trend-Setting Product of 2010

CAPTUREit is the ideal tool for stand-alone document capture or as a front-end to a complete automated data capture and classification solution with OCR for AnyDoc® and Infiniworx®. Using a TWAIN-compliant scanner, CAPTUREit allows for local or distributed document capture, eliminating the need for documents to be physically stored and/or shipped to a central location for collection and processing. Thousands of dollars can be saved immediately by eliminating the postage and costs associated with transporting large stacks of documents on a weekly or monthly basis.
Above and beyond these hard savings, CAPTUREit provides greater business competitiveness by moving documents and information into mainstream business processes more quickly. Remote branch locations can send scanned documents to a central site for processing. CAPTUREit has been certified with a complete interface to desktop, workgroup, departmental, and production-level scanners for the top scanner manufacturers.
Incoming documents can be scanned or imported, and then conveniently saved as PDF, JPEG, TIFF, Microsoft Word or XPS files for output. PDFs can be full-text searchable and have multiple levels of security including encryption and passwords to protect sensitive data. Batches and document sets can be sorted with barcodes and/or patch pages, while index values can be assigned to quickly move images into back-end repositories, making them available to the entire company for more informed business decisions. Output with the images includes indexed data as text, XML and seamlessly integrates content into Microsoft SharePoint, as well as DocuSphere, FileBound, ImageSilo, PaperVision, and many other popular ECM destinations.
CAPTUREit also includes a feature-rich Quality Assure (QA) module with customizable viewing options, drag-and-drop reordering, excellent image cleanup, and virtual document set identification and alignment. QA can be performed locally or be distributed to remote locations. Multi-stream view displays both color and bi-tonal images simultaneously. When multi-stream is not available through a scanner’s interface, CAPTUREit provides a market-leading feature known as Virtual Multi-Stream®, where a needed bi-tonal image can be generated from the scanned color image. This allows a high quality color document image to be archived in support of any compliance requirements, while the black-and-white document image is utilized for data capture to maximize speed and recognition accuracy.
CAPTUREit’s administrative features include complete user/group management with optional Active Directory integration for providing security, scan-profile management and distribution (including remote sites). Also, with AnyDoc®MANAGEit™, administrators can monitor real-time station activity, provide historical reporting/alerts, and deploy software updates to all stations from a central location.
