Oracle OpenWorld 2012 to Offer Utilities Industry Sessions
At Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco, Sept. 30 - Oct. 4, 2012, utilities executives will discuss applications, technology and systems that transform operational excellence and customer satisfaction, manage big data and support smart metering and smart grid programs.
Executives from AGL Resources, Duke Energy, Duquesne Light, Exelon, Green Mountain Power, Pacific Gas & Electric, San Jose Water Company, San Diego Gas & Electric and Veolia Water North America will participate in more than 40 sessions, demonstrations and networking events.
Oracle Utilities will host its general session on Monday, Oct. 1 at 10:45 a.m. Oracle Utilities' Rodger Smith and Linda Jackman will discuss industry challenges and new innovations for utilities. AGL Resources Chief Executive Officer John Somerhalder and Kelly Gallant, North American Managing Director for Accenture's Utilities Group, will also speak.
