MYOB US provides free update for new 1099 form

January 11, 2002 (Rockaway, NJ) MYOB US, Inc., has alerted its small business customers of a free product update containing the new 1099-MISC form. As with all previous MYOB products, the update integrates 1099 information with the new form, with no other software required. Small business owners can manage their business using one integrated solution rather than piecing together a solution using various other products.

Macintosh QuickBooks users looking for updated software with the new 1099 form as well as a completely integrated payroll solution can easily convert their company files to MYOB AccountEdge version 2 via the free QuickBooks Conversion Assistant on the MYOB web site at www.myob.com/us or through the QuickBooks Conversion Service, also offered on the site, or by calling MYOB Customer Service at 800-322-MYOB(6962).

MYOB AccountEdge for the Mac OS and MYOB Plus for Windows also offer eBusiness Services including automatic billing capabilities for those businesses who bill their customers on a recurring schedule. MYOB users enter the information once and enter a schedule. The payments from their customers are then automatically deposited in the MYOB merchant's normal business checking account. The transactions are emailed to the MYOB merchant and easily imported into their MYOB accounting software, automatically updating their accounts.
