Dexter + Chaney’s Forefront® Construction Management Software has placed first overall in the Job Costing/Accounting/Payroll Applications category in the 2004 CFMA Information Technology Survey
Dexter + Chaney’s Forefront® Construction Management Software has placed first overall in the Job Costing/Accounting/Payroll Applications category in the 2004 Information Technology Survey for the Construction Industry released recently by the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Results of the prestigious survey were announced at the 2004 CFMA Annual Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans.
Forefront placed first among 54 software products in the Job Costing/Accounting/Payroll software category, with 23 percent of the survey’s respondents reporting that they use Forefront. Products were ranked according to the number of construction companies that use them. With 800 firms responding, CFMA says it’s “the largest sample of IT patterns in the industry.”
“Since job costing, accounting and payroll are essential elements of every construction company’s business, it’s extremely gratifying that Forefront placed first overall in that category,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney president and co-founder.
The questionnaire for the biennial survey, conducted by a subcommittee of CFMA’s Technology Committee, was sent to a select list of contractors in November and December 2003.
